Why I teach Combat Focus Shooting...
I teach Combat Focus Shooting and Advanced Pistol Handling because they are an honest programs that provide the armed person the best response in a dynamic critical incident. I have first hand of experience applying these skills and they work. I have reviewed numerous critical incidents and talked with the people involved and they responded to the threat in the fashion that CFS teaches. Use what the body wants to do naturally, you are not likely to defeat your natural reaction in a true emergency. As a trainer on a limited budget I believe you need to train for the most likely situation. If you can get your department or self, through CFS and APH you have covered these situations. The most common comment I get at the end of the training day for either program is, "we should have been doing this years ago".
