My Bio
I joined the army in 1985 and trained to become a combat MP. In 1988 I went to Airborne school then to Air Assault school and went from being an MP to Infantry. In 1990 I became a lieutenant and went to Infantry Officer's Course in Fort Benning, GA. After finishing my time in the army I worked as a high school history teacher and football coach for 5 years. Then I decided to open a business, and for the past 14 years have owned & operated a gun & archery shop in Marshfield, Missouri. I am a certified NRA pistol & rifle instructor, and through my shop I teach conceal carry classes and CFS classes.
Why I teach Combat Focus Shooting...
Before I chose to take the CFS instructor course I looked into many different programs. After a lot of study, I believed CFS to be the best program because it takes what you will do during a dynamic critical incident and then builds your proper response from there. I wanted to be part of CFS so I could help as many people in my area to be able to better defend themselves and their loved ones. This program delivers all the information a person needs to better understand why his/her body is reacting the way it is and how he/she can turn that into a practice positive to be better prepared for critical situations. No other program uses this philosophy and that's why I wanted to be part of CFS.
